Member of the Month

Welcome to the Member of the Month tab. Every month, we like to recognize an outstanding Key Club member shown here!

OCTOBER

Tatiana Avalos

Tatiana is an active member of Key Club

who attended RTC and, unlike the LTGs who stood around talking, helped to clean up after most people had left.

SEPTEMBER

Jenna Wang

Jenna is an outstanding second-year member

of Key Club who has already reached Silver Level!

AUGUST

Jasmine Xu

"Now in her second year of Key Club, Jasmine Xu has always been an extremely involved member. She has attended almost every club meeting, and is always respectful to those around her. Even though the 2017-2018 school year has only just started, Jasmine has already accumulated a total of 65 volunteer hours! This number of hours is by no means underwhelming, especially for an underclassmen. Therefore, Jasmine has been chosen as our August Member of the Month, due to her impressive amount of service, and the spectacular example she sets for both old and new members alike."

MAY

Iman Dimalanta

"Iman has constantly been showing kindness and spreading her positivity throughout this year in and out of Key Club. She is always attending meetings and going to the service events as much as she can. She is very passionate about Key Club and shows her spirit in all events that she goes to. Iman is a great friend to many people in the club and I am excited to see how she grows throughout the many more years of Key Club."

SCOTT LE

"Throughout high school, Scott has shown an endless dedication and passion for Key Club. Whether it be attending almost every service event, general meeting, or board meeting, Scott has shown the four core values of Key Club without a doubt. Not only does he have great attendance, but Scott is a friend and great role model for many people in the club; time and time again, he has shown his love for this club. Scott has shown that even a general member can make a difference in the club and community. This month, he organized his own fundraiser for the club and was even the mediator for club elections! Throughout his time in this club, he has done so much more. We are so lucky to have Scott in our ohana! Thus, we are proud to select Scott Le as the Member of the Month for the month of February 2017."

ANGELIQUE GUILLERMO

"Angelique is a sophomore in our club, yet she has shown wonderful progress as a member this year. Having completed around 90 service hours so far, Angelique is an amazing member, and we are so proud of her! She attends many service events, shows spirit with her bubbly personality, and has shown leadership by deciding to run for a position on the board for next year. In the month of December, Angelique attended service events and general meetings, showed her appreciation for the board members, and overall promoted a positive environment. We are so lucky to have her as a member of our ohana. Thus, we recognize her as Member of the Month for the month of December 2016."

ROBIN LEUTERIO

"Robin is a current freshman and he has been a very dedicated member ever since being recruited at the Wrangler Round Up. He attends many events, shows the four core values regularly at meetings and outside of meetings, and is overall a source of positivity for the club. At first, he started off as a shy member, which is understandable, as he was new to the environment. However, by the time RTC rolled around, he was leading the group in cheers, contributing to the inclusiveness of the club, and helping other members out. He even made one of the cheers that we cheered at RTC, "West Tech, Best Tech"! Robin is truly a great member and we look forward to seeing how much more he will grow throughout the year."

JUSTIN HOWELL

"Justin is a currently a senior and he has been a very dedicated member for the last two years now. He has also attended many Key Club related events such as Regional Training Conference and Fall Rally South where he was repping Division 28 West. As he attended these events, he has shone his pure passion for this student run organization. He is actively participating in the club by attending not just Key Club events but by volunteering his time on the weekends frequently. He is a loyal member and is at every general meeting as well as some board meeting for further information about Key Club. We are excited to see how he will grow and better our club in the future year."
